Garda DOC WHITE - Elmè
PRODUCTION AREA: Morainic hills south of Lake Garda, municipality of Cavriana, Campagnolo area.
SOIL TYPE: Morainic, sandy-pebbly, slightly calcareous.
ALTITUDE ABOVE SEA LEVEL: 100-130 m.
TRAINING SYSTEM: Guyot.
AGE OF THE VINES: 5 - 7 years, yield per hectare 90 quintals.
GRAPES: Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco, Incrocio Manzoni.
HARVEST: Manual in crates in the first week of September.
VINIFICATION: Soft pressing of the grapes, fermentation in steel and refinement on fine lees for 6 months with periodic batonage.
BOTTLING: In the spring following the harvest, released for sale after 2 months of refinement in the bottle.
